Your listening time, completed sessions, practice days, saved favorites, last listening position, and optional daily minute goal are kept in this browser’s local storage. They help the page remember your place and show your practice to you.

There is currently no Superthoughts account or cloud sync for this information. It may not appear on another device or browser, and clearing this browser’s site data can remove it.

Feedback is optional. If you save a note, its session, date, sound and return choices, and any words you entered are stored separately in this browser. Up to 50 notes are kept.

The Export my notes button downloads a JSON copy to your device. Exporting does not send it to Superthoughts; you choose whether to share that file.

With your choice, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand use of this listening space. The Google analytics script is not loaded until you choose to allow it. Declining does not limit listening.

If you allow analytics, Google receives page views and limited listening events, such as starting a session, reaching listening milestones, and completing one. These events include the session’s ID, title, category, and time actually listened. We do not send your feedback notes, transcript text, listening history stored on your device, or page query strings through these events. Google may set analytics cookies and receive device and browser information. Advertising storage and personalization remain off.

Our Google Analytics setting retains user-level and event-level data for two months, with the period not reset by new activity. This setting does not shorten standard aggregate reports. You can change your choice at any time using Privacy choices. Withdrawing permission stops future analytics events and removes analytics cookies this site can access. It cannot retract information already sent to Google.

Privacy choices

Email updates are optional. If you enter your email, check the consent box and submit the signup form, your address is sent to Kit to manage the dedicated Superthoughts email list. You must confirm by email before receiving updates. The signup form does not load Kit scripts or contact Kit when you simply visit this page.

Kit stores subscription, confirmation and unsubscribe information to manage the list. It may also process email delivery, opening and link-click information. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter, or contact Josh to ask about your subscription data. Signing up here does not enroll you in Josh’s other newsletters. Listening and contacting us do not require a newsletter subscription.

If your browser supports it, you can choose Save for offline on an individual session. That downloads its full audio, and transcript cues when available, into this browser’s cache. You can remove a saved copy with the same button while that session is selected.

The browser or device may clear cached files to recover space. A connection is needed to save a recording again.

Clear listening history in Your practice removes practice time, completed sessions, saved positions, and favorites after an on-page confirmation. It does not remove feedback notes or offline recordings, which use separate storage.

To remove feedback notes or all locally saved site data, use your browser’s controls to clear data for this site. You can also remove offline copies one session at a time in the player. Clearing browser data does not undo analytics already sent or remove an email address you submitted to Kit; use Privacy choices for future analytics and an email unsubscribe link for the mailing list.

Opening the site and streaming audio makes ordinary requests to the hosting service. Those requests can include technical information such as your IP address and browser details. We do not use your browser-local practice record to make those requests.

If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so Josh can respond. Cloudflare checks for bots and limits repeated submissions; this can involve technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Resend delivers the message to Josh’s email inbox. Messages may be retained in that inbox and by our delivery provider for correspondence and delivery troubleshooting.

Contacting us does not subscribe you to email updates. Please do not include medical records, payment details, or other sensitive information. You can contact us to ask about access to or deletion of your correspondence.
